2014 was very good fun and lots of hard work – I completed my MA Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam University and got myself a wonderful studio space (as well as working three jobs, keeping my family happy and moving house) – I have decided that this year I will concentrate on my studio practice (“composting” as my peer group calls it), so this blog should fill up very quickly as a diary of my studio work!
One project I am keen to work on is the creation of some panel embroideries – illustrative works but on the largest scale I have ever worked (50x140cm approximately)
As a starting point, today I have done a number of gestural drawings which I will begin working into tomorrow to bring out the overall structures of the images.
