Experimenting with iPad drawing (Adobe Draw)
Drawing digitally takes some getting used too – I’m using a cheap rubber ripped stylus as I found I couldn’t get the accuracy using just my finger. Obviously, I’m not getting the expressive quality I like on my drawings but this digital method is a useful composition tool.
I can combine design elements from sketches and photographs (the Adobe Shape app is handy for converting photos into rough outlines), and get the scale exactly right – it certainly beats the multiple photocopies and tracing paper method I’ve used for years!
