It’s all in the preparation….
A productive 6 hours in the studio today. Setting up the new camera arm (which is much more stable and adjustable than my old one), applying carbon to the back of the design drawing and preparing the fabric for transferring the design on. I hit a slight snag when I realised my drawings have become a bit longer than the cloth I ordered so I’ve had to crop it! But it’s mainly been about pressing the fabric, trimming the cut edges and folding them over twill tape – a fiddly procedure if you want an even, straight edge!
